Full mouth rehabilitation is a highly individualized treatment, often needed when there are multiple health issues in the mouth, or one or more that have seriously affected the teeth, gums or jawbone. A full mouth reconstruction plan addresses the entire mouth as well as the bite.
In some cases, it is necessary to address every tooth in the mouth using a combination of dental services. This is also the case for issues with the gums, bone loss in the jawbone, and various problems that can emerge from a misaligned bit.
Understandably, a full mouth rehabilitation plan is more long range, and may require substantial work that occurs over several spaced appointments. The result, however, is restored function of the mouth (teeth, gums, and bite), and a renewed and greatly improved oral health that can last indefinitely.
